One of the biggest franchises with a solid fandom is the “Harry Potter” series. As it celebrates 20 years from its first release, the show’s cast will reunite in HBO’s Return to Hogwarts. But apart from that, a special game, “Harry Potter: Hogwarts Tournament of Houses,” will air on four Sundays starting Nov. 28 on Cartoon Network and TBS.
Helen Mirren will host the game show wherein fans test their knowledge about the franchise. Players will be divided into four teams representing each of the four houses from the wizarding school: Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Slytherin, and Ravenclaw. The winning team will advance to the grand finale with a chance to win.
Aside from bringing home the Tournament of Houses championship trophy, the grand winner will also win a $1,000 shopping spree in the Harry Potter New York store and tickets to the Broadway production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Winners will also enjoy a three-day trip to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando Resort and the Harry Potter: The Exhibition touring experience. Another perk is the opportunity to watch an advanced screening of “Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore,” set for release on Apr. 15, 2022.
Joining Mirren in the show are “Harry Potter” alums Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy), Simon Fisher-Becker (Fat Friar), Shirley Henderson (Moaning Myrtle), and Luke Youngblood (Lee Jordan). “Harry Potter” superfans Jay Leno and Pete Davidson will also have a cameo in the game show.
