Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III Ranked Play

The arrival of Ranked Play in Call of Duty’s Modern Warfare III, a highly anticipated feature with the Season 1 Reloaded update, has been delayed. Despite player expectations and the initial promises from developers, the competitive game mode has not yet made its appearance.

The delay is attributed to a critical issue recently discovered in the game, although it remains unclear whether the problem stems from the game itself or the Activision Blizzard update. Players, eager for the promised Ranked Play experience, were disappointed to find it unavailable.

A statement from the Call of Duty update page on X acknowledged the delay and indicated that the development team is actively investigating the issue. The goal is to resolve the problem promptly and provide players with the anticipated Ranked Play experience.

Heads up competitors, Modern Warfare 3 Ranked Play will not be available immediately after players receive the Season 1 Reloaded update,” Activision said. The Ranked Play team will be performing checks before enabling the mode for all players. Stay tuned for more updates.”

Promised Multiplayer Experience

The multiplayer Ranked Play, as highlighted in an earlier blog post about Season 1 Reloaded, was designed to bring gamers into competitive 4v4 matches featuring the same settings, maps, and modes as the Call of Duty League (CDL). Exclusive access to this mode was promised for players who reached Level 55.

Despite the promising features and heightened anticipation, the delay has hindered what could have been an enjoyable gaming experience. Modern Warfare III, in its remastered form for modern platforms, has been the subject of several promises from developers, including the revival of maps from MW2, which are expected to become favorites among players.

Additionally, the game introduced new experiences and game modes, such as the iconic 3v3v3 format that pits nine players against each other, each with three operators competing for dominance and skill. This mode was recognized for its cutthroat competitiveness in the renowned first-person shooter game.

Fall Short of Mid-Season Update Expectations

Season 1 Reloaded, positioned as a mid-season update, promised a variety of new experiences for both Modern Warfare III and Warzone 2.0. However, the recent update has fallen short of expectations, with Modern Warfare III missing the much-anticipated Ranked Play. The development team is actively working to resolve the issue and deliver the promised gaming experience to players.
